Terms of service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply when you buy from capitalcraftwealth.com or book a PC repair with us. Please read them before ordering. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Capital Craft is a trading name of a sole trader based in England, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@capitalcraftwealth.com.

2. Our products

  • Most of what we sell is used. We describe each item honestly, including its condition and how it was tested. Photos show the actual item unless the listing says otherwise.
  • Used items are usually one-offs. If an item sells before your order is confirmed, we will tell you and refund you in full.
  • New computers are built to order from the parts we agree with you.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
  • Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order.
  • If we make an obvious mistake in a price, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Your order

Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. If we can't accept or fulfil your order, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Delivery and collection

We deliver within the UK. Every parcel is tracked and insured, and items are our responsibility until they are delivered to you. Delivery is £6.99 for parts and £24.99 for complete computers. We do not offer collection. Full details are in our Shipping policy.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

You can return online orders within 14 days of receiving them. Every computer and part we sell carries a 12-month Capital Craft warranty on top of your legal rights. Full details are in our Refund policy.

7. PC repairs

  • Repairs are done by post. Email us first and we will send you a repair form and the address to send your PC to.
  • Return delivery: £24.99 by tracked, insured courier, payable with the repair bill.
  • Maintenance service: £50. This includes a dust clean-out, fresh CPU thermal paste, a fan and cooling check, a cable tidy and a general health check.
  • Fault diagnosis and repair: £75, plus the cost of any replacement part. The £75 covers the time needed to check your PC and find the fault. It is still payable if you decide not to go ahead with the repair.
  • We always tell you the price of any replacement part before we order or fit it. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.
  • Thermal paste is only replaced during a repair when we replace the CPU or cooler, or when temperatures show it is needed. When we do, it is included in the repair price.
  • If you post your PC or parts to us, they must be packed securely: in the original packaging if you still have it, or in a sturdy box with enough padding that nothing can move. Damage caused by poor packing on the way to us is your responsibility, not ours. See the packing section of our Refund policy.
  • Please back up your data before sending your PC to us. We only access what the repair needs, and we keep your files private.
  • If you don't pay for a finished repair (or, if you decline the repair, the £75 fee and return delivery) within 90 days of us telling you it is ready, we will contact you at least twice by email. If we still hear nothing, we may sell or recycle the item to cover what is owed, and we will refund you any amount left over.
  • If you book a repair online, you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start work within that time and then cancel, you pay for the work already done.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. If you buy from us for business use, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

9. Your personal information

We use your details only to process your order or repair and to answer your questions. See our Privacy policy.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, email us at support@capitalcraftwealth.com and we will do our best to put it right.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
